York City include latest signing Jon Challinor in their squad for their crucial visit to Fleetwood Town tonight (kick-off 7.45pm). The former Exeter City and Aldershot Town midfielder joined the Minstermen after appearing against them as a second-half substitute in Kettering Town's 5-1 defeat at Nene Park earlier this week. The visitors are still without Matty Blair (calf), Liam Henderson (knee) and David McDermott (foot) but newcomer Danny Pilkington will be pushing for involvement following his debut goal at Kettering.“They will be smarting from losing 4-0 at Barrow," York boss Gary Mills told The Press. "Nobody wants to lose any game but, having gone down 4-0 in a derby, they’ll have been worrying about that over the last few days. "But really it doesn’t matter if Fleetwood won, lost or drew their last match. It’s all about performing how we can," he continued. "It was great to score five goals on Tuesday because you don’t do that often, but no two matches are the same and we’ve put that game to bed now." Former York winger Peter Till is doubtful for the hosts with an ankle injury and there are also concerns over Shaun Beeley, Peter Cavanagh, Junior Brown, Nathan Pond, Anthony Barry and ex-Wrexham striker Andy Mangan. However, Jamie Vardy has been recruited from FC Halifax Town and is eligible to supplement an attack which should be led by one-time York favourite Richard Brodie.
