Former York City striker Richard Brodie helped current leaders Crawley Town to an excellent 2-1 victory at Luton Town on Tuesday evening. Brodie, whose goal for York last season played such a major part in them knocking the Hatters out of the play-offs semi-finals, had already twice been denied by Luton keeper Mark Tyler before his side fell behind to Andy Drury's 65th minute penalty  - awarded after Zdenek Kroca had been brought down inside the area by Kyle McFadzean. But the former York striker lashed home an equaliser from close-range with ten minutes remaining from a headed assist by Craig McAllister, who then grabbed a winner in added time to keep the visitors three points clear at the top of the table.
