Brodie key to York - Bayliss

Richard Brodie really made the difference between the two sides according to Barrow joint-manager Dave Bayliss, as York City eventually ran out 3-0 winners at Bootham Crescent. Leading scorer Brodie struck twice to make it eight goals in his last fives games, while substitute Michael Gash added a late third as the home side moved back up to fourth in the table."Goals change games," Bayliss told the North-West Evening Mail. "We controlled the first 40 minutes until they scored and even in the second half there wasn't much in it until their second goal."Fair play to York, they haven't played well, they'll admit that, but they've still ground out a 3-0 win," he added."They are a big, well-organised side and the difference is Richard Brodie, as he's shown many times this season. He's sneaked in where we could have done better defensively to mark him, but we gave him too much space and he took advantage."
