York City's FA Trophy semi-final tie at Barrow was postponed following a pitch inspection at 11.45am on Tuesday morning. Further heavy overnight frost ruled out any chance of the frozen pitch thawing out, and the match referee had little option but to postpone the fixture again. And the two clubs will now try for a third time to stage the tie next week. Barrow's official website reported: "The clubs will try again next Tuesday, March 2nd after the possibility of the pitch being fit by Wednesday has also been ruled out." This means that York's trip to Grays Athletic, originally scheduled for that date, will have to be rearranged.
