Barrow pitch 'playable'

York City's delayed FA Trophy quarter-final tie against Barrow at Holker Street appears certain to finally go ahead tonight. The contest has already been postponed twice due to a frozen playing surface, but there would appear to be no such problems this time around.Barrow's offical website reports: "After two postponements due to a frozen pitch, concern was raised when the forecast suddenly changed to a severe frost last night. However with covers on The Wilkie Stand side in place and only a mild frost, coupled with decent temperatures today, the pitch is finally playable."
