AFC Telford United v York City

York City will have leading goalscorer Jason Walker and midfielder Andre Boucaud back for their trip to lowly AFC Telford United this evening.

The pair were both sent-off during the recent scoreless draw at Barrow but have now completed three-match bans and are expected to earn immediate recalls. The Minstermen scored seven goals against Kettering Town at the weekend, with striker Jamie Reed helping himself to a brace, although he had to be replaced at half-time because of an ankle injury.

That could well allow the return of fifteen-goal Walker in attack, while Boucaud may well come back into midfield at the expense of Danny Pilkington.“I’m prepared to pick the team that’s the right one to win at Telford,” York manager Gary Mills told The Press.. “I will do that whether it means keeping the same side that played on Saturday or making changes.“We have two players available again who have been influential this season and played consistently well but they are wondering now whether they will get back in, which is great for team selection," he added. "That situation has been caused by people doing their jobs well and telling me, as manager, that I have some big decisions to make before I pick the side that I need to do.” AFC Telford suffered a 3-1 defeat at bottom-of-the-table Bath City at the weekend and have selection problems.Skipper Shane Killock and leading scorer Chris Sharp are both suspended, with Adam Proudlock, Dwayne Samuels, Spencer Weir-Daly and Carl Rogers already ruled out through injury. Meanwhile, on loan Leicester City striker Elliott Chamberlain is rated as doubtful.
