Worthington keen to impress

Yeovil Town loanee Jon Worthington is determined to make a success of his time at Huish Park.

The 25-year-old has joined the Glovers after falling down the pecking order at Huddersfield Town and is happy to be back in the mix with the League One strugglers.

He told the Western Gazette: "I need to get some games under my belt. For the first time in my career I have not been playing regularly and I want to play football.

"Russell Slade telephoned me and I thought 'get down there and get some games'.

"I want games and to help Yeovil the best I can. Every time I pull on the shirt I give everything.

"You do your job for the team and do your best to help the lads."
