Stew wins Slade praise

Yeovil Town boss Russell Slade believes the arrival of Marcus Stewart last month has helped to transform the Glovers.

The former Huddersfield Town forward moved to Huish Park on loan from Bristol City earlier this season and produced another outstanding display in the 3-2 win at the Galpharm Stadium.

"I was looking for a clever, inventive player and I couldn't have found anyone better than Marcus," said Slade.

"He's here on loan for three months and there's a lot of water to go under the bridge before we know whether he'll stay.

"He's almost 34 but he's still running round like a spring chicken.

"He's fitted in well and is still enjoying his football and once he, Lee Morris and Arron Davies get on the same wavelength they'll be a joy to watch."
