Yeovil Town manager Russell Slade has snapped up Crystal Palace's teenage winger Jerahl Hughes on a free transfer.
The 18-year-old impressed the Glovers boss during a brief trial at Huish Park towards the end of last season and Slade has moved quickly to tie him to a permanent deal.
"He's a winger, but he's very good at popping up in all sorts of positions," assistant manager Steve Thompson told the Western Morning News.
"He's not one of those who hugs the line all the time. He's one of those who pops up in good positions.
"He's got good pace and is a good crosser of the ball."
Meanwhile, defender Terrell Forbes has ended speculation over his future by agreeing a new deal with the club.
