Slade opts to release seven

Yeovil Town boss Russell Slade has released seven players following a disappointing League One season for the Glovers.

Mark Lynch, Anthony Barry, Darryl Knights, Stephen Maher, Wilfried Domoraud, Ishmael Welsh, Jerahl Hughes will all be plying their trade away from the Huish Park next season.

After reaching the League One play-off final in 2006-07, Town struggled this term eventually finishing 18th, only four points above the relegation zone.

Slade's side lost ten home games and managed to find the net only 38 times in 46 league matches.
