Skiverton rueful after draw

Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton was left to rue his side`s profligacy as he reflected on a "magnificent" performance which only resulted in a 1-1 draw against fellow-strugglers Walsall.Wasteful Town were made to pay for their missed chances when a mix-up in defence from a Saddlers corner allowed Jon Macken to prod the ball over the line for his sixth goal of the season.Andy Williams finally found the net to level things up when his header from Andy Welsh`s right-wing cross hit the far post and crossed the line despite the best efforts of defender Andy Butler.Skiverton said: "We should have won with the chances we created. They are clear chances but we didn't take. Then it's the same old - they go down the other end and score. The response was magnificent but it has happened several times."We eventually got the goal from Andy Williams and in the second half we again created chances but Walsall could have nicked it."It was important we didn't get beat, especially for our morale. None of the other teams below us had caught us but we don't want there to be too much of a gap between us and the teams just above us. Overall I thought the performance was magnificent."
