Skiverton focuses on positives
Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton had no complaints after seeing his players hold their own for much of the game in the 1-0 home defeat to Brighton.Elliott Bennett was on target for the visitors in the first half as the Seagulls survived early and late pressure from Skiverton's side to grind out the points. The Glovers boss said: "We have closed the gap on the big boys. We've come a long way - the effort and commitment is there."Our gameplan worked perfectly. We knew that if we stayed in the game and came out in the second half and didn't run out of gas, we had a chance."Brighton are a good side and when they go 1-0 up it's hard to get the game back. They're a great side and have real imagination on their free-kicks. With the quality they've got and the money they've got to spend, it's hard for teams like us."Skiverton added: "We now look forward to another big match here on Saturday against Huddersfield and if we can find the cutting edge up front, there's no reason why we shouldn't get a result."
