Yeovil Town boss Russell Slade hit out at his critics after a superb 2-1 win at champions Swansea City made sure of the Glovers' League One survival.
Slade feels that some of Town's fans have been less than supportive this season, but he is determined to prove them wrong in the future.
Slade told the Western Daily Press: "I got abuse at last week's home game. I was lambasted from time to time and I don't get that from the away fans, who have been magnificent.
"I don't get that from all the home fans either, but some of them are a disgrace. Some were shouting 'resign' and 'get out'.
"People sometimes think I'm not passionate. That's because I am a thinker.
"It's been a frustrating season, but we are still in League One and we have only been in the league five years. We are going to rebuild and try to be a team that can challenge again.
"I am so appreciative of the people who are behind me. I will stay here and build them a club to be proud of, that's for sure."
