Roberts seals Glovers switch

Yeovil Town manager Russell Slade has persuaded Gary Roberts to make his loan move from Crewe Alexandra to Huish Park a permanent arrangement.

The 21-year-old has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Glovers after making 11 appearances for the club since his arrival in August.

Slade told the club's official website: "We're delighted with him as he's made so much progress and we still feel there's more to come.

"We've got him back on track and he can be an exciting player with a great range of passing. He's fitted in really well at Yeovil and we're expecting great things from him in the future."

Roberts make 133 appearances for Alex after making his first-team debut for the club almost five years ago.
