Rendell opts to join Glovers

Yeovil Town have won the race to sign Peterborough United striker Scott Rendell on a month's loan.

Luton Town had thought the 21-year-old was heading to Kenilworth Road and earlier this week accused the Posh of reneging on a deal.

The former Aldershot Town, Forest Green Rovers and Crawley Town forward found the net 23 times in only 36 appearances for Cambridge United last season.

However, he has made only five starts for Peterborough since arriving at the club in February.
