Yeovil Town manager Russell Slade has completed the permanent signing of Ipswich Town youngster Darryl Knights on a one-year contract.

The striker spent a successful time on loan with the Glovers last term, making five first-team appearances as Slade's side reached the League One play-off final.

The 19-year-old came through the youth team ranks at Portman Road and made his first-team debut against Sunderland in November 2004.

However, despite signing professional terms with the club two years ago, that proved to be his only first-team appearance for the Championship side.
