Yeovil Town have confirmed the signing of former Newcastle United and Leeds United defender Paul Huntington on a two-year deal.
The towering centre-back featured heavily for Stockport County at the end of last season after his contract was ended by the Yorkshire club and he will be looking to kick-start his career at Huish Park.
Huntington, 22, came through the Magpies' centre of excellence before making his first team debut against Blackburn Rovers in December 2006.
He scored against Tottenham Hotspur in a 3-2 victory at White Hart Lane, but he eventually moved on to Leeds in August 2007.
His arrival comes as a boost to manager Terry Skiverton as he looks to further bolster his defensive options ahead of the Glovers' League One opener against Leyton Orient on August 7.
