Glovers go for Brittain

Yeovil Town have snapped up midfielder Martin Brittain on a month's loan from Championship outfit Ipswich Town.

The 21-year-old joined Town in the summer after being released by Newcastle United, but he has made just one first-team appearance and moves to Huish Park as a replacement for Kevin Cooper, who has returned to Cardiff City.

Glovers boss Russell Slade told the club's official website: "He's a different kind of player to Kevin Cooper.

"He's an out and out right-sided player who's quick and has great delivery into the box.

"He's only five foot eight, so he's not particularly powerful, but he's pacy and technically very sound."
