Yeovil Town have handed a trial to former West Ham United midfielder Shaun Newton.
Newton, 32, has been without a club since being released by Championship side Leicester City in January.
The winger has made over 400 appearances during a 14-year career for the likes of Charlton, Wolves, West Ham and Leicester.
Meanwhile, Glovers boss Russell Slade has handed a contract to defender Rob Fitzgerald.
The Hillingdon Borough defender has been playing for the club's reserve side this season and has put pen to paper on a contract until the end of next campaign.
