Gall wins Williams backing

Yeovil Town striker Kevin Gall has been backed to rediscover his goalscoring touch by Glovers team-mate Gavin Williams.

The Welsh Under-21 international has failed to score in his last seven games and missed a clear chance when he came on as a sub in the 1-0 win over Kidderminster Harriers at the weekend.

However, Williams still believes that Gall has a big part to play in the Glovers' promotion chase.

He told the Bristol Evening Post: "Kevin adds something to the team when he plays.

"Teams know about Kev now, they know what he is all about with his pace and they have got wise to it and they have backed off him.

"But no doubt this rest will do Kev good and I should imagine he will be back in the team straight away and firing like he was at the start of the season.

"When he came on in the last 20 minutes he caused all sorts of problems and maybe should have scored, but we all know what Kev can do and I am sure he will be back to his best soon."
