Gall remains confident

Yeovil Town striker Kevin Gall believes the club is capable of beating the drop despite losing three key players during the transfer window.

The Glovers felt the absence of the departed Lee Johnson, Darren Way and Efe Sodje during Saturday's 2-0 defeat against Southend, as they slipped to just three points above the relegation zone.

However, Gall told the Western Daily Press: "It's not like all of a sudden we have become a bad team - Southend are a very good side and they showed why they are top of the league.

"We just have to get on with it now and work hard towards the next game.

"I can understand the fans' worries - of course they are going to be concerned that we've lost some important players.

"Darren, Lee and Efe were a big part of Yeovil, but we have brought in some good players as well. Players come and go at every club and you just have to be positive and get on with it.

"There is no point in thinking about relegation - we just need to focus on the next game and getting three points."
