Duo injury blow for Swans

Swansea have stepped up their search for new faces after defender Tom Williams and midfielder Darren Way were ruled out for up to six weeks with respective injury problems.
Williams had surgery on a hernia problem, while Way went under the surgeon's knife to cure a problematic shin injury, and boss Kenny Jackett will be without the duo in the build-up to the hectic festive fixture programme.
As a result the Swans are now looking to freshen up the squad in the January transfer window with Southend United midfielder Luke Guttridge, who has lost his place in the side at Roots Hall, one player heavily linked with a move to the Liberty Stadium.
Meanwhile, the club have also handed a trial to French defender Sylvain Meslien, who has played for both St Etienne and Troyes in his homeland.
