Best to stay with Glovers

Yeovil Town have agreed a deal in principle to extend on-loan striker Leon Best's stay at Huish Park.

Best has already spent two months on loan with the Glovers and boss Russell Slade has revealed he has agreed with his Southampton counterpart George Burley to extend the stay for another four-week spell.

"It has been verbally agreed between myself and George Burley," said Slade. "He is happy for Leon's loan to be extended, which is good news."

The 20-year-old marksman has netted seven times in 12 appearances for the League One side since arriving in November.
