Yeovil still without Jack Compton and Marc Laird for Wycombe clash

Yeovil are still without midfielders Jack Compton (calf) and Marc Laird (hamstring) for their League Two home game with Wycombe.

Paul Sturrock's strugglers have rallied in recent weeks with a four-game unbeaten run, but the Glovers have had to contend with a substantial injury list and defender Omar Sowunmi (ankle) is another who missed Saturday's goalless draw at Newport.

But Sturrock admits he is delighted with the addition of well-travelled veteran striker Francois Zoko, who played 68 minutes at Newport after joining the club on a two-month loan deal.

"You can see he is a little rusty but you can see he is a very good player," Sturrock told BBC Somerset. "For a 20-minute spell he played very, very well but he tired a wee bit."

Wycombe will be without Joe Jacobson and Marcus Bean until at least January after the pair were injured before Saturday's 1-1 draw with AFC Wimbledon.

The absence of Jacobson (back) and Bean (ankle) will have a huge impact on a limited squad, with manager Gareth Ainsworth unable to name a full bench for the Dons game.

Gozie Ugwu and Stephen McGinn are also out with knocks but Anthony Stewart made a welcome return from a long-term knee injury on Saturday and is likely to continue.

Max Kretzschmar (knock) and Danny Rowe (illness) started on the bench on Saturday, with Kretzschmar getting a run for the last three minutes of the game.
