Glovers miss banned duo

Yeovil will be without two players through suspension when they host Sheffield Wednesday.

Kieffer Moore and Joe Ralls both saw red in the second half of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Reading along with defender Byron Webster but, while the Glovers successfully appealed the centre-back's two-match ban, Ralls (three games) and Moore (one game) will both miss out.

But there are two injury boosts for manager Gary Johnson as captain Jamie McAllister looks to have overcome a calf problem which forced him off against the Royals while Ishmael Miller is set to replace Moore in the starting line-up having overcome his hamstring problem.

Liam Davis (toe) is expected to miss out once more but Joel Grant has recovered from his own toe injury and could be involved as Yeovil look to make it five games unbeaten.

Wednesday defender Lewis Buxton is hoping to feature for the first time in three months.

Right-back Buxton has been sidelined with a groin injury but has returned to full training and could be in contention for a return to the squad.

However, fellow defender Joe Mattock faces a long spell out after tearing a thigh muscle in last week's win against Middlesbrough and boss Stuart Gray is still without several first-team players.

Midfielder Kieran Lee (hamstring), Jose Semedo (fractured fibula), Reda Johnson (hip), Martin Taylor (knee) and Kamil Zayatte (ankle) all remain sidelined as Wednesday bid to extend their unbeaten away record to 10 matches in all competitions.
