Cornick set for Glovers start

On-loan Bournemouth midfielder Harry Cornick is set to start Yeovil's Capital One Cup tie at home to QPR.

The 20-year-old came off the bench to score in the 3-2 defeat at Exeter on Saturday and his reward is likely to be a place in the team to face Championship opponents.

Defender Alex Lacey was forced off with cramp in that game but is expected to be fit for Tuesday.

General fitness is still a concern for manager Paul Sturrock and he is awaiting the return of Jack Compton (calf), Jordan Gibbons (groin) and Ben Tozer (knee) from injury to give him more options.

QPR could be without striker Charlie Austin, who had an injury-disrupted pre-season and was taken off as a precaution towards the end of Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Charlton.

Midfielder Leroy Fer, who like Austin is expected to leave Rangers before the transfer window closes, is sidelined by a knee injury while Armand Traore and Yun Suk-young are also in the treatment room.

Young defender Cole Kpekawa has a broken hand but could still feature on the bench.

Forward Jay Emmanuel-Thomas may be handed a full debut after coming on as a second-half substitute at The Valley.
