Johnson eyeing Orient boost

Gary Johnson will be hoping to welcome back some absentees when Yeovil host fellow strugglers Leyton Orient on Monday. Johnson was unable to name a full quota of substitutes for his side's loss at Bristol City and a 72-hour turnaround means his squad is stretched to its limits.

Kevin Dawson, Joel Grant and Nathan Ralph are expected to return in the near future, but the Orient match may be too soon for the Glovers. Jordan Clarke and Kieffer Moore also missed the match. Clarke will be out for a couple of games after limping out of the warm-up in their FA Cup win over Accrington and Moore took a knock in training and required crutches before their game last week.

Leyton Orient continue to be dogged by injury problems as their 4-1 Boxing Day win over Crawley was marred by two more setbacks.

Shaun Batt came off midway through the first half after being unable to overcome a knock and goalkeeper Adam Legzdins also left the game early with a shoulder problem.

Striker Gianvito Plasmati suffered a hamstring injury early on in the previous loss at Barnsley just before Christmas.

Fabio Liverani is also without Darius Henderson (foot) and Lloyd James (broken leg) among others, but Kevin Lisbie was back on the bench after being out since August with a shoulder injury.
