Lawrence set for Glovers start

Yeovil are set to hand a first start to Manchester United loanee Tom Lawrence when they host Leeds.

The midfielder made his debut as a substitute in the 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest on Sunday having signed a three-month loan deal, and he looks set to make his home bow against one of his parent club's big rivals in this televised clash

Joe Ralls, on loan from Cardiff, looks to have overcome the knock that forced him to be withdrawn at The City Ground and he could be joined in the squad by striker Sam Hoskins and left-back Liam Davis.

Hoskins has not featured since the 5-1 loss to Huddersfield having suffered a groin injury while Davis, the Glovers' first-choice left-back, has been missing since suffering a broken toe last month and manager Gary Johnson will assess the pair in the build up to kick-off.

Leeds striker Matt Smith will return to the squad following suspension and Noel Hunt is poised for his first league appearance since early October.

Smith has served a three-game ban following his straight red card in last month's 6-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday, while Hunt has been struggling with a torn hamstring that has restricted him to nine appearances since arriving at the club in July.

Manager Brian McDermott has no new injury or suspension problems and is unlikely to make too many changes after last week's 5-1 home win against Huddersfield.

Striker Dominic Poleon, plus defenders Lee Peltier and Scott Wootton are among those pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.
