Yeovil's injury list remains extensive ahead of Hartlepool clash

Yeovil's list of unavailable players remains extensive ahead of their Sky Bet League Two home clash with Hartlepool.

The Glovers have defender Ben Tozer (knee) and midfielders Kevin Dawson (pelvis) and Marc Laird (hamstring) back in training, but the trio are unlikely to be ready to feature at the weekend.

Definitely ruled out are Alex Lacey (groin), Omar Sowunmi (ankle), Ryan Dickson (groin), Jack Compton (calf), Wes Fogden (finger), Simon Gillett (knee) and Jamie Burrows (ankle).

Striker Shaun Jeffers also misses out due to suspension, while it remains to be seen whether midfielder Josh Wakefield, who has been on loan from Bournemouth, is still eligible. One bonus for Yeovil is that manager Paul Sturrock returns to the dugout after a touchline ban.

Hartlepool have plenty of problems of their own for the trip, with striker Rakish Bingham struggling with a hamstring strain.

Boss Ronnie Moore may decide to rest the forward with another game at home to Bristol Rovers to follow on Tuesday night.

Michael Duckworth aggravated his hamstring problem in training in midweek and is out, while full-back Jordan Richards (back) and goalkeeper Trevor Carson (toe) remain sidelined.

Carl Magnay serves the last game of a three-match ban, but defender Andrew Boyce is available after he extended his loan deal from Scunthorpe this week.
