Grant still absent

Yeovil are without Joel Grant once again when they host Gillingham.

The winger damaged ligaments while running on a treadmill during pre-season and, having missed the 3-0 defeat to Doncaster on Saturday, is still some way from a return to action.

Boss Gary Johnson was furious with his side's Huish Park defeat and says he will make changes against the Gills. Kevin Dawson is a doubt having missed Saturday's match but the likes of Nathan Ralph and James Hayter, who impressed as substitutes, will hope to be given the nod.

There could be debuts for centre-back Ben Nugent and goalkeeper Artur Krysiak while Sam Hoskins will also hope to make his first appearance of the season.

Gillingham suffered a double injury setback in Saturday's opening League One defeat against MK Dons so boss Peter Taylor will have to shuffle his pack.

Goalkeeper Stuart Nelson had to be substituted when in pain at half-time in the 4-2 away loss after suffering a suspected broken thumb.

Striker Cody McDonald had opened the scoring as the Gills went 2-0 up but twisted a knee when falling awkwardly in the second period and came off after 53 minutes at stadium:mk.

Taylor said: "Cody looks as though he has twisted his knee, it wasn't a kick on it but it was as he was going over. Stuart was in a bit of pain at half-time so we had to take him off, simple as that."
