Upson returns for struggling Glovers Yeovil welcome back midfielder Ed Upson for the visit of Colchester as they look to end a run of six straight league defeats. Upson missed Tuesday night's defeat against Portsmouth as he served a one-match ban after being dismissed against Preston and his return is a welcome boost for manager Gary Johnson who is likely to be without three first-team players. Defender Byron Webster will miss out having picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Portsmouth, while attacker Lewis Young suffered ankle ligament damage on Tuesday night. Reading loanee Gozie Ugwu limped off with a hamstring problem and is a major doubt for the struggling Glovers. New signing Paddy Madden is expected to be involved after joining on loan from Carlisle on Thursday. Johnson criticised some of his players for "not pulling their weight" in midweek and is expected to shake things up. Joe Dunne will be hard pushed to make any changes for Colchester. The U's were without a win in all competitions this term until Dunne's appointment as manager late last week. A convincing 3-1 victory against Hartlepool followed before an unchanged starting XI disposed of high-flying Swindon 1-0 just 72 hours later. And Dunne will see no reason to make any changes to a U's side brimming with confidence ahead of a clash against Yeovil, who have lost their last six successive matches in League One. Goalkeeper Mark Cousins continues to play through the pain barrier having dislocated a finger last weekend. The U's have failed to beat Yeovil in their last five attempts and were dumped out of this season's League Cup at the first hurdle following an embarrassing 3-0 defeat in Somerset.
