Glovers wait on Webster

Yeovil will assess defender Byron Webster's hamstring injury ahead of their clash with Burnley at Huish Park.

The centre-back lasted less than an hour of their comfortable FA Cup win over Leyton Orient last weekend before being withdrawn as a precaution and manager Gary Johnson says they will check on him before deciding if he can face the Clarets.

Defender Matteo Lanzoni joined the Glovers last week following his departure from Oldham. And having been cup-tied against Russell Slade's men he is now available to make his Yeovil bow if selected.

Meanwhile Johnson confirmed that Ed Upson came through his return to action as a substitute unscathed. The former Ipswich trainee had a successful injection to treat an ankle injury.

New signing Ashley Barnes will be in the squad for Burnley.

The Clarets, still residing in the Sky Bet Championship's top two, bolstered their attacking options on Friday with the signing of Brighton forward Barnes although he is likely to settle for a place on the bench with the 31-goal partnership of Sam Vokes and Danny Ings hard to break up.

Centre-back Michael Duff is expected to come back into the reckoning after he was rested in the FA Cup defeat at Southampton last weekend.

Boss Sean Dyche was without full-back Ben Mee (thigh) and winger Michael Kightly (knee) for that match and both are doubtful again, while midfielder Ross Wallace (knee) is not ready to return just yet despite playing 75 minutes for the development squad on Thursday.
