Glovers to check on Palazuelos

Yeovil are sweating on the fitness of midfielder Ruben Palazuelos ahead of the visit of Bolton.

The Spaniard's hamstring injury meant he missed Tuesday's draw with Wigan and is a doubt for Saturday's clash and with John Lundstram and Duane Holmes having returned to their parent clubs in recent weeks, boss Gary Johnson is short of numbers in midfield.

He could also be without Joel Grant after the winger limped off just before the break in midweek and Kevin Dawson is ready to step in again for the former Wycombe man.

If Grant is passed fit, then Johnson could name the same side that played out that memorable 3-3 draw at the DW Stadium.

Dougie Freedman has revealed the virus which gripped Bolton's camp last weekend has eased.

Midfielder Mark Davies, back-up goalkeeper Andy Lonergan and striker Jermaine Beckford were among those struck down by illness, yet Freedman revealed he had a full group in training on Thursday.

Defender Matt Mills could come back into the Scot's thinking following his knee injury, while Marc Tierney (broken leg) and Joe Riley (knee) are also working independently as they step up their returns.

Midfielder Stuart Holden is back in America after having surgery on his knee and is not expected to return to Bolton until pre-season.
