Glovers to bring back big guns
Yeovil manager Gary Johnson looks set to recall a number of his key players for their first ever home game at Championship level when Birmingham travel to Somerset.
Johnson gave his squad players the chance to impress in the 1-0 win over Southend on Tuesday night and he looks set to recall Paddy Madden, Ed Upson, James Hayter and Sam Foley into the starting line-up.
Summer signing Dan Seaborne was on the substitutes' bench at Roots Hall having suffered an injury to his nose but the former Southampton defender is also set for a return to Johnson's XI.
Captain Jamie McAllister has not featured for the club since lifting the League One play-off trophy at Wembley back in May due to a knee problem but the Scot is back in full training and was an unused substitute in midweek.
Scott Allan is likely to have played his way into manager Lee Clark's plans for Birmingham's trip.
The on-loan West Brom midfielder started last weekend's Championship opener against Watford on the bench but was handed a starting role for Tuesday's Capital One Cup tie against Plymouth and duly bagged a brace in a 3-2 success.
The likes of Chris Burke and Callum Reilly will also have to wait and see whether they have done enough to warrant a league start at Huish Park.
Nikola Zigic (back), Mitch Hancox and Darren Ambrose (both groin) will again be assessed, while long-term absentees Jonathan Spector (fractured cheekbone) and Will Packwood (broken leg) are unavailable. David Murphy has also suffered a fresh set-back in his recovery from a heel injury.
