Williams returns to haunt Glovers

A familiar face denied Yeovil three points against 10-man Swindon as Andy Williams came back to haunt his former club in a 1-1 draw at Huish Park.

James Hayter gave Yeovil the lead when he raced in behind the Robins' rearguard to fire home the opener after 34 minutes.

He almost lost the chance when his square ball pushed Jordy Hiwula wide but the Manchester City loanee hooked it back towards the seasoned striker who picked his spot.

The former Doncaster man was lucky to even be on the pitch when he was spared a second yellow for a tussle with Yaser Kasim having previously gone in late on the same man.

Swindon equalised in the 71st minute through ex-Glover Williams who was found by Jack Stephens in space and delightfully curled the ball into the far corner.

Swindon were a man light with 12 minutes to go when skipper Nathan Thompson was shown a second yellow card for lying on the ball following an earlier late tackle.

Yeovil could not take advantage of the extra man and Swindon could even have bagged themselves a late winner, however Nathan Byrne could only blaze his strike over the bar.
