Wotton reveals uncertainty

On-loan midfielder Paul Wotton admits he didn't recognise just how perilous Yeovil's position was when he signed in January. At the time of his arrival from Southampton, the Glovers were bottom of npower League One and six points from safety. The 33-year-old made his debut in the goalless draw at home to former club Plymouth on New Year's Day, but didn't check on the precarious plight of his new club until after the game. "I was not fully aware of the league table when we played Plymouth and after the game I realised we had, at that point, 17 points and that it was going to be a huge effort," he told thisissomerset.co.uk. But he revealed that he is enjoying live at Huish Park, especially after the club's great escape. "I am loving it, I would not have signed if I was not," he added. "I am enjoying playing and there is no better feeling as a professional footballer."
