And Skiverton said: "We huffed and puffed, started very positively and had two really good chances, but we weren't clinical enough.
"If you to places like Charlton, don't take your chances and they get a goal you know it's going to be very difficult to get back into the game. As we've found in League One, it's very difficult to go a goal behind and claw your way back into a game."
He added: "We created a few chances but they had a hatful so it was a fair result. We're in a relegation battle at Yeovil and we need to make sure we keep our head above water."
