Skiverton urges continuation of form

Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton hailed a third successive victory and called for his side to move clear of danger after they beat Carlisle. Jon Obika broke the deadlock in the second half when he was put clear by Dean Bowditch to see off the Johnstone's Paint Trophy finalists and move seven points clear of the danger zone. Skiverton said: "For us to keep a clean sheet was great. We beat Carlisle with a well taken goal by Jon Obika and it was great to have him back in our attack. He has been on loan to other clubs but their loss has been our gain and I'm grateful to Tim Sherwood (Tottenham's Assistant Manager) for letting him come here. "I think we have made a positive statement and it was impressive. Although Carlisle have the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final on Sunday they didn't come here with one eye on that. They came here to play and that's great credit to Greg Abbott their manager. "People tell me we need 50 points to be sure of survival but I think we can push on way past that. We had a difficult month against the big clubs and we said that if we got through that without flipping back into the bottom four we could push on."
