Skiverton slams Glovers display

Goals from Troy Deeney and Alex Nicholls secured the win for the hosts at Bescot, which leaves the Saddlers unbeaten in five games due to a huge improvement in performances since Chris Hutchings replaced Jimmy Mullen as their manager six weeks ago. Skiverton said: "I feel we lost out in the physical battle. "We lost out to the second ball all over the pitch and I'm very annoyed by that. I'm very angry and made my thoughts known to the players. "When Walsall had to switch their centre-forward to defence he still had quite a comfortable game, and if I'd been playing I would have considered that an insult."
