Skiverton satisfied with Hutchins
Heavy downpours prevented the 19-year-old from making his debut for the Glovers against Hereford on Tuesday as the rain caused the game to be postponed because Huish Park was waterlogged.
Skiverton said: "Danny will be a great addition to the squad. He's an exciting young lad who we've had watched and was on our radar."
Hutchins is now on standby as Skiverton - ruled out by a foot injury recently - and fellow defenders Lee Peltier, Nathan Smith and Craig Alcock bid to be fit for Saturday's home game against in-form Carlisle United, 2-1 winners at Crewe on Tuesday.
