The injury-hit Glovers were knocked out of the FA Cup at Oxford in the wake of a 4-0 league thumping at leaders Leeds last time out in League One.

Skiverton said: "Obviously we are all disappointed to have gone out of the Cup but now we must look ahead. We are back in league action on Saturday and it's at home.

"We have had such a good spell recently that I will give the team the benefit of the doubt and expect a response from them at home against Southend."

Yeovil's Somerset Premier Cup second-round tie against Western League side Brislington at Huish Park has been brought forward 24 hours and now takes place on Tuesday, kick-off 19:45pm.
