Skiverton hails squad strength

Terry Skiverton feels his current Yeovil squad is the strongest he has had at his disposal during his time at the club. Goals from Dean Bowditch, Andrew Welsh and Paul Huntington secured a 3-1 victory over Tranmere, who grabbed a late consolation through Ian Thomas-Moore's penalty. A delighted Skiverton said: "The team out there was the best I have picked since I have been manager and the substitutes bench was the strongest. "Some people might think the club is going backwards but in my eyes this is the strongest squad I have been able to pick from since I became manager. "From as bad as we have been this year this was as good as we have been. "We defended very well, but they did have some pressure near the end when they threw caution to the wind."
