Skiverton frustrated by toothless Glovers

Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton admitted his side's poor finishing was a key reason for their 3-1 defeat to Dagenham. The Glovers missed several early chances before Will Antwi gave the Daggers an 18th-minute lead, however, Andy Williams levelled on the stroke of half-time. Yeovil mounted attack after attack but the visitors struck on the break through Abu Ogogo in the 81st minute and substitute Medy Elito sealed the win five minutes later. Skiverton said: "I don't think we could have created any more. In all my time playing or as a manager I have not seen a team create as many chances. Even if we do score one goal the other team scores three and it's not good enough. I am very frustrated. "In the first half we had six chances. We are hitting the crossbar and the keeper is making saves but all of a sudden we are getting edgier. It keeps happening. The first chance they get they score and it's from a corner. We have been working on things like that. "You get yourself back in the game with a good goal and in the second half we seem too deep. But we are still creating chances and making the crowd edgy because we can't score."
