Skiverton calls for improvement

Manager Terry Skiverton has apologised to Yeovil fans following the 4-0 defeat to Notts County and vowed to shake up the team. The Glovers went down with a whimper at Meadow Lane on Saturday as a trio of defensive errors gifted the hosts a 3-0 half-time lead. Skiverton will make changes for the visit of Tranmere at the weekend and aims to bring a new player to the club in time for that game. "First and foremost, I would like to take responsibility for what happened. I am not happy with it and I would just like to apologise to the travelling supporters because for us as a football club that was not good enough," said Skiverton. "But we will stand up, we will assess what has happened and I think it has forced my hand with someone that will be coming in during the week. We need to shake things up. "If people find themselves on the outside they will know why and, if people find themselves still in the team, then they will know why."
