Skiverton blasts Glovers showing

19 August 2009 16:55
Skiverton slammed an abject first-half showing which saw Exeter dominate to lead through Stefan Stam's own-goal, although Ryan Mason lobbed a brilliant 30-yard equaliser for the Glovers after a poor clearance by City goalkeeper Paul Jones. "It seems like I am repeating myself again. I was really upset with the first-half performance again," said Skiverton. "I'm telling people to do a job and they aren't doing it, so I am really angry after that game. "People started to get the idea in the second half and in the end the adjustments we had to make were working in our favour. "We got a little bit tighter to them in midfield and created a few opportunities. On another day we may well have snatched a victory but in the end I am happy to walk away with a point."
