Skiverton bemoans first-half display

Russell Slade made his first return to Somerset with his new club Brighton and looked destined to celebrate his 49th birthday with a victory as they built up a 2-0 lead. But Yeovil showed fighting spirit in the second half and deserved a point when Scott Murray scored from the penalty spot, having already reduced the deficit to one just before half-time. Skiverton said: "We were terrible. We work all week on doing things but we didn't do them. "I was disappointed with Brighton's second goal. Sam Williams was penalised for trying to get his leg out of the way of a challenge. "The referee looked at it as a dive but if he had left his leg there it would have got broken. "We are coming up against opposing teams, their management, fans and referees at the moment. We keep coming up against referees every week who are substandard."
