Glovers land Upson

Yeovil have signed midfielder Ed Upson on a two-year contract after he was released by Ipswich this summer. The 20-year-old progressed through the youth system at Portman Road but only made two appearances for the first team - both in the Carling Cup. He had loan spells with Barnet and Stevenage and represented England Under-19s during the 4-0 victory over Belarus in 2007. Upson, who scored the winning goal in the 2005 FA Youth Cup final for the Tractor Boys against Southampton, becomes Yeovil's fourth signing this week following the captures of Arsenal pair Luke Freeman and Luke Ayling plus ex-Bristol Rovers forward Andy Williams.
