Glovers fightback delights Skiverton

Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton was naturally pleased with his side`s point against Bournemouth as they came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw. The Glovers lost skipper Paul Huntington to two bookable offences in the 50th minute before the play-off chasing visitors raced into a commanding lead courtesy of two Danny Ings goals, the first of which came from the penalty spot. But Adam Virgo`s penalty and then Shaun MacDonald`s injury-time header rescued a point for Yeovil. "Our penalty was certainly handball," said Skiverton. "His (Harry Arter) hands were above his head and he jumped. That made it 2-1 and then a great delivery from a corner laid on the equaliser for Shaun MacDonald. For him to climb up and get that goal was brilliant." The Glovers boss added: "Paul Huntington was on a yellow card early in the second half when he got left one-on-one with Liam Feeney which is something we don't like to do. We know Feeney has been a handful all season and when you have got against him like that it was a problem. "The penalty which soon followed was apparently according to the letter of the law. I have not seen that before with our player picking their lad up. Basically officials were saying he picked him up and dropped him down. In my opinion, it was a penalty if it was according to the rules."
