Glovers boss hails on-loan pair

The Glovers are now level on points with Northampton, who sit one place above the bottom four at the foot of League One, thanks to their first win in nine games - although their inferior goal difference means they still occupy the final place in the drop zone. Obika - on-loan from Tottenham - scored the only goal of the game, while fellow loanee Weale produced a stunning performance in goal to secure a second successive clean sheet. And Skiverton was quick to thank former Yeovil boss Gary Johnson for allowing Weale to return to the club from Bristol City. "I have to thank 'uncle Gary' for letting him come here," said Skiverton. "He looked after me there and he knows, as I do, that Chris Weale loves this club. Sometimes loan players come just to get matches but with Chris there is a real desire to do well. "Jon Obika has had a great week, scoring for us and playing for England under-19s in midweek in preference to the lad (Danny) Welbeck who is with Manchester United."
