Gibson desperate to seize chance

Winger Billy Gibson is eager to make a big impression at Yeovil after earning an extension to his deal at Huish Park. The 20-year-old signed a short-term contract in August after being released by boyhood club Watford but boss Terry Skiverton has given him until the end of the season to stake his claim. "Obviously for the last 10 years I've been at Watford but then I came here at the start of the season to stay and I was due to stay until the end of January," he told the Somerset Guardian. "The gaffer called me into his office and said he was really happy with me and said he wanted to keep me here until the end of the season. "So I'm really happy to be here. Hopefully I'll get a chance off the bench and if I get that chance then hopefully I'll take it." Gibson has made three appearances from the bench this season for the League One side.
